People protest for education reform. Then the story gets famous as a (somewhat) serious need for law enforcement reform. Two wrongs doesn’t make one right, and so on.
Why is this particular event interesting? Because this image seems to tell a story, but not the full story. (That they refused to leave, - though I don’t think they blockaded the university, so they were not denying others’ right to enter the building, etc. - so removing them “at all cost” was a bit extreme.)
Then during the post-op analysis, people fail to see emergence and heat-ot-the-moment decisions and instead attribute this to agitprop conspirators. Though the slashdotter can be right, but it’s unlikely. (And then some evidence would be nice.)
